He he he...this is a funny movie that everyone should see. Guys out there...I am not sure if you guys have been adventurous enough but some aspects of this particular movie seem to happen to most of the guys that I knew. (yes, some of my friends really.....became old Casanovas by now). The setting for the movie took place in high school environment as Zach Ziler, the hunk, the man...the dude got dumped by Taylor (his girlfriend) for an hmmm....over the hill reality TV star somewhere during their break. In short, he felt miserable. Naturally (is it?) he consoled himself that her ex-girlfriend was not much of a biggy and he told himself ... Taylor was replacable. But his buddy (not much of a buddy!) told him that was not such the case. So he tells off this hunkster dude and somehow placed a bet to see if Zach could possibly find and create a prom-queen within 6 weeks.

So the macho man sets off on a quest to get Laney to replace his lost Taylor. But of course at the time, Laney was not as hip and as happening as Taylor. Bla..bla..bla, she went for a makeover, throws her glasses, does her hair only to be humiliated later by Taylor in a party. Poor Laney!
Few scenes later, Zach became upset with Dean who seems to think that every girl should be treated as sex objects....and Zach suddennly burst out his anger and slams Dean into the steel locker and made it a point that Lenny was not a tramp and she aint no ho! (nah he did not say that but kudos Zach, I can see now why you are the man. big fish comin...big fish comingggg).

So later she went to Leneys house and saw potraits of her mother. Laney then told him of her sorry ass story, that her mother died many years ago and eversince she became reserved, played everything save and distant herself from everything. And zapppppp....Zach saw her right through. (heyyy..I dont mean THAT!). Prom queen day kept closer and Taylor (yup..the ex) asked if Zach wanted to go with her to the prom. But of course he politely told her...that she was thinking of taking Laney with her. That was when Taylor (snob!) told him that Dean was going to go with Laney. Somehow after that Zack made Dean upset and exposed to the world ... (ya ya ..i am over exegerating) about their bet and poor Laney who had to hear the scan. She ran..and ran! Dean seemed to have the upper hand and decided to ... strike the iron while its still hot! (LOL) (we need more guys like this in Malaysia!) His lucky day to get laid with Laney came and he took Laney into the hotel.

Apparently, Laney's best friend knew what Dean was up to and quickly informed Zach but too late...they already went to boogey! Since both were nowhere to be found, he waited in front Laney's house instaed. Laney came back and found Zach and told him that Dean did not get laid (phew..Zach!) but she deafened his ears with a rape alarm and ran from the hotel. Zach them told how he really felt about her...and told her that he was going to pursue art to impresss Laney (lame dude...lame!) So, Zach lost the bet because Laney was not the prom-queen, Taylor did. But Zach got Laney.
